Pregnancy & Post Natal Massage

New Mum Check-up & Return to Exercise

Provided by Catherine Raymond

This appointment is for you no matter how long ago you gave birth. Once you’ve had a baby, you are always postnatal.

Perhaps you very physically active before the birth of your baby but feel unsure how to safely return to exercise classes? Or have you gone back to the classes you used to do before having a baby and have found your body isn’t coping as well as it used to?

Do you leak when you jump, cough, sneeze or move quickly?

Do you know which exercises to avoid after giving birth and throughout breastfeeding?

Is your tummy still looking round or its lack of tone causing you concern?

Did your six-week post birth check include a look at your C-section scar, give you advise on how to realign your posture, guidance on what exercise is safe to resume post birth? Or was it offered to you virtually or perhaps it included little or none of the above leaving you unsure what is safe and what isn’t?

We can provide a return to exercise plan tailored to you and whatever stage of pre or post birth that you are in.

After having children, some women experience embarrassing symptoms which are seen to be ‘normal’ after having a baby or a normal part of getting older. Things can be done to ease symptoms, many women can heal themselves and improve their symptoms. You just need someone to show you how. I can do that.

Babies and young children are welcome to attend appointments with you however, for ladies who are able to leave their children in the care of another trusted adult often feel more relaxed and are able to talk more freely.

Pregnancy & Postnatal Massages

Pregnancy and postnatal massages are tailored to your stage of pregnancy and beyond. Using safe massage mediums, you can receive a treatment that can melt away aches and pains bought on by pregnancy and being a new mum.

While not suitable for ladies earlier than 13 weeks pregnant, the massage can be enjoyed thereafter and throughout breastfeeding.

Please be aware that due to current safety measures, clients are reminded to bring at least 2 towels and 2 pillows for comfort.
