Liz Terracciano
I qualified from the College of Osteopaths with a First-Class Honours Degree in Osteopathy and I was also awarded the Tracey Stokly Award for reflective practice. Prior to studying Osteopathy, I attained an HonoursDegree in Psychology from Southampton Institute.
Before studying osteopathy, I had a successful career as a Sales Manager for a global business, achieving international sales awards and the sales training position for the U.K. It was from working in a highly stressful environment and travelling weekly for business that I realised the impact that our day to day lives can have on our bodies.
Although I really enjoyed my job in sales, I wanted a career that helped people to lead happier and healthier lives, free from pain and discomfort. I chose osteopathy because it resonated with my beliefs about health and it is a truly caring profession which treats each person as an individual.
Although I enjoy treating all individuals with any types of musculoskeletal complaints, I have an interest in people who drive for a living such as van, lorry, bus or taxi drivers, delivery drivers or area sales people, as well as motorcyclists who ride to commute or just for fun.
Outside of working as an osteopath I enjoy going for walks with my family and spending time outdoors. We also enjoy working on our allotment, going for swims in the sea and finding new places to explore. When I am on my own, I like to get out on my motorbike as a qualified advanced motorcycle rider and go for a ride. I try to get to the gym when I have time and I have aninterest in weight training.
Taking all my experience in psychology, communication and the effect of work and personal life on our health, my focus is to help people to regain control of their wellbeing and reduced pain and discomfort.

Liz Terracciano Testimonials
I just wanted to send a big thank you to the wonderful Liz, who has been working with my cranky shoulder. Her professionalism and knowledge shine through as she works her osteopathic magic while gently explaining what is happening and why.
Shoulders are tricky and take time to sort out, but I feel 100% confident in Liz’s ability to get mine back to full, healthy working order. After each session, it feels better and as if we are well on the road to full shoulder health. Thank you for this terrific service.

I’ve been coming to see Liz now for a few years on a regular basis. I have a long term back problem that is only kept in check through Liz’s expert osteopathic advice. I do also take regular exercise which helps too.
Liz is very easy to talk to, she is intuitive in her treatment and often knows what to do before I’ve even finished telling her what the problem is! Often, I have other aches and pains (knee or hip) and Liz always listens, asks questions and checks to see that the pressure she is using is ok. I learn so much from her and always come away from my appointment feeling more flexible and definitely more relaxed.
I would thoroughly recommend Liz to anyone who is in pain and unsure about how to deal with it.

“I can highly recommend Liz, I have been going to Liz for treatment on my back for 1.5 years now. I’ve got Scoliosis & been suffering with back pain since a teenager growing up. I’m so happy to have found Liz!
Liz has been amazing at managing to help ease my pain thoroughly. She is very kind, caring & gentle, I always feel so much better & comfortable after my appointments. Liz takes her time & gives helpful advice & tips to help keep my back pain at ease when at home & at work. I personally wouldn’t trust anyone else!’

“I have a number of physically demanding hobbies and have had a number of small problems building up for a while that I have either been masking, ignoring or have been compensating for.
With a Strongman Competition coming up and finally deciding to do something about these, with a stubborn strained distal bicep tendon being top of my list, I booked in to see Liz Terracciano at Stubbington Health.
From the moment I entered the clinic Liz put me at ease, she was friendly and professional. We ran through my list of ailments and did a very thorough set of assessments where it was obvious Liz had a vast wealth of knowledge, pinpointing problems I’d had in the past and always explaining the ‘why’ and ‘hows’. ‘, which I really appreciated, giving me a greater insight into my body and it’s patterns.
It has been little under a month since attending my appointment and I am utterly overjoyed with the results. The treatment Liz gave me was excellent and fluid, changing with my comments rather than sticking to, what has felt with other Osteopaths, like a cookie cutter resolution. My bicep pain has lessened more than I could have hoped, my upper spine feels looser and my lower back feels more comfortable in general.
The treatment was the start of that, Liz took the time to explain and demonstrate with me; exercises, stretches and movements that would help continue the process of healing and was humble and honest enough, that when she felt I needed a specialist, to point me in the right direction. These exercises and her honesty have been invaluable.
I was utterly impressed with Liz and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone regardless of the pain, the activity or the goal and I will be going back.”

“Since having Steady and Strong classes with Liz, I have become more confident when walking. Only last week, I tripped whilst walking in town and managed to save myself from falling by using techniques I have learnt in class. I would recommend balance and strength classes for anyone who feels a bit unsteady on their feet or worries about it for the future.”
