Kristie Ikiadis
Kristie Ikiadis L.Ac. is a licensed Acupuncturist that treats pain, stress, anxiety, fertility, pregnancy, migraines and woman’s issues.
My interest in Acupuncture started when I lived in Asia (Japan and Taiwan) working as a Stunt Performer. I used to love visiting Taipei and checking out the markets lined with Chinese herbs. I found it fascinating. After a few years doingstunt work and being hard on my body I decided to learn how to heal it. Natural medicine just seemed like the right path for me. I returned to San Diego, California where I pursued my Masters Degree in Chinese Medicine and Herbology, took my exams and became a licensed Chinese Medicine Practitioner.
In my time studying I worked in several different types of clinics allowing me to work with an array of conditions. Some of those clinics included a Seniors Clinic, Hospice and Children’s Hospital. I also worked on a cruise ship as the resident Acupuncturist for a short time. Travelling is a passion of mine.
When I’m not working you can find me with my 2 children exploring new adventures whenever we can or out kayaking. I also teach children’s theatre which I absolutely adore! I love being creative and that is why Chinese Medicine has always intrigued me.
