James Bisson
Hello my name is James Bison (MOst) and I am an Osteopath who has worked at Stubbington Health over the last 3 years. I completed my masters in Osteopathy at Swansea University working across both NHS and private clinics. In total I have been working with patients for the last 6 years and have developed a unique style of treatment. My style involves working with you to help understand better the cause of your pain and the reason it persists.
As a keen sportsman I play both hockey and tennis to a high standard. I am also a LTA level 2 tennis coach, meaning I have coached both children and beginner adults, promoting a healthy lifestyle as well as improving their game. During lockdown I took up gardening producing my own fresh fruit and vegetables from seed, as well as the general maintenance and upkeep of the garden and enjoying the benefits of the great outdoors.
I have a special interest in treating patients with chronic pain and headaches who have exhausted other avenues of treatment. I aim to provide clarity and a tailored treatment plan to help you manage your condition and the pain associated with it.
Originating from Winchester I am delighted to be working in Hampshire, I look forward to meeting you soon.

James Bisson Testimonials
Lee B – I had a serious neck issue in 2024-5. Arrived to see James on my 1st treatment in much pain. James was very reassuring and gave me excellent treatment over the year which resulted in me being able to attend work. James also gave me exercises to do which I still do today. Thanks Lee
Mrs T Emsworth – I had my first session with James today following a 15 minute discovery session last week. My problem is arthritis of the knees and hands and I found him very helpful I would heartily recommend him.
Mr S Emsworth – Very surprised at how quickly the treatment worked, very impressed by the service and the way in which it was carried out. Service provided was of the best, no more pain at all.
S.A: 5 star service from a 5 star clinic. Painkillers did nothing for my back, 6 weeks I struggled through on my own. Finally had enough, saw James and was 90% better after the first session.
A.P: 15 years ago I started to get aches and pains in my right knee. Gradually it got worse to the point where walking was difficult and if there were stairs forget it. I decided to give Osteopathy a go. I saw James, and although he did tell me he couldn’t make me 20 again, he got to work. I am currently walking further and can finally go up and downstairs, if a little slow, but it is a massive improvement from where I started a few months ago.
T.H: James was brilliant, 2 sessions and my back feels brand new!
S.P: My current practitioner is James the Osteopath and I can say with confidence that he has been kind, professional and extremely effective. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
Jane: I visited James due to long term neck pain linked to whiplash from a car accident many years ago. Despite seeing many practitioners in the past, I had become resigned to living with the pain. I am so pleased to say that James has given me renewed hope. He explained things that nobody else has ever explained before and I discovered that it is possible to improve some of the long term symptoms or even eliminate them altogether. James was very thorough and reassuring and I am so pleased to have found him.
