Jane Goodger

Jane Goodger is an experienced and fully registered naturopathic nutritionist  specialising in digestive issues, allergies and intolerances.

Her own positive personal experience of the healing power of food inspired her to become a nutritional therapist.  She qualified at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in London, graduating 10 years ago.

Naturopathic nutrition looks at the underlying causes of illness and disease, rather than simply treating the symptoms.  It focuses on identifying nutritional imbalances and helps stimulate the body’s own natural healing processes.

Jane provides realistic personalised plans to help people take charge of their health and improve the quality of their lives.

Case Study

My client, a 65 year old female, had been suffering from an extensive eczema-like rash on her legs, arms and chest, for many years. She had been prescribed numerous creams and medications by her GP and dermatologist but sadly none of these had made a lasting difference. The rash was affecting her so badly that it was difficult for her to sleep or lead a normal life. When I first saw her, she told me that she felt she was losing the will to live.

I took a detailed history of her signs and symptoms, past medical history, and her current and previous eating habits. I then drew up a plan with recommendations about which foods to avoid or give up completely as well as which foods to introduce or increase. I advised her to take some supplements which were aimed at improving her digestive function, to help her system come back into balance and improve her nutrient absorption levels. I also suggested that she make some changes to her lifestyle. The advice was backed up with a written plan as well as various factsheets and easy, quick, nutrient-dense recipes.

I am delighted to report that within a few weeks of following the guidance the rash began to improve and eventually, after a few months, my client reported that she was 95% better and leading a full and normal life again.
